Ted Hsu, born on March fourth, nineteen sixty-four, is a distinguished Canadian physicist and politician. He currently serves as the representative for Kingston and the Islands in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, a position he has held since two thousand twenty-two as a member of the Ontario Liberal Party.
Before his provincial political career, Hsu made his mark on the national stage as a Member of Parliament for Kingston and the Islands from two thousand eleven to two thousand fifteen, also under the Liberal Party of Canada. His background in physics and research has informed his approach to policy and governance.
In a notable development in May two thousand twenty-three, Hsu announced his candidacy for the Ontario Liberal Party Leadership Election. Although he was eliminated on the first ballot, his commitment to public service and political engagement remains evident.
