Teddy Wilson

Teddy Wilson, born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen twelve, was a prominent American jazz pianist whose influence on the genre is undeniable. Renowned for his gentle and elegant piano style, he was often described as 'the definitive swing pianist' by critic Scott Yanow. His virtuosic technique was heavily inspired by the legendary Earl Hines and Art Tatum, which helped shape his unique sound.
