Teemu Pukki

Teemu Pukki, born on March 29, 1990, is a distinguished Finnish professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for HJK in the Veikkausliiga. His football journey began at a young age when he made his senior debut for KTP on June 23, 2005, at just fifteen years old during a Finnish Cup match.

In 2008, Pukki took a significant step in his career by moving to Sevilla, where he made a brief appearance in La Liga. However, he soon returned to Finland, joining HJK, where he achieved notable success, winning both the Veikkausliiga championship and the Finnish Cup. His career then took him across Europe, playing in top leagues for clubs such as Schalke 04 in Germany, Celtic in Scotland, and Brøndby in Denmark.

In 2018, Pukki signed with Norwich City on a free transfer, where he made a remarkable impact, being named Player of the Season in the 2018–19 EFL Championship. His contributions on the field have been pivotal in elevating his teams' performances.

On the international stage, Pukki made his debut for the Finnish national team in 2009. Over the years, he has earned more than one hundred thirty caps and scored forty-three goals, making him the all-time leading male goalscorer for Finland. His impressive performance during the UEFA Euro 2020 qualification campaign, where he netted ten goals in ten matches, was instrumental in helping Finland reach their first major international tournament.
