Tekuder

Ahmed Tekuder, known as Sultan Ahmad, was born in the year twelve forty-six and ascended to the throne as the sultan of the Ilkhanate in the year twelve eighty-two. He was a prominent figure in the Mongolian lineage, being the son of Hulegu and the brother of Abaqa. His reign, though brief, was marked by the complexities of Mongolian politics and the challenges of leadership during a transformative period.

During his time as sultan, Tekuder faced numerous challenges, including the need to maintain stability within the Ilkhanate and manage relations with neighboring powers. His leadership was characterized by a commitment to the legacy of his family, as he sought to uphold the traditions established by his father and brother.

Despite his efforts, Tekuder's reign came to an end in the year twelve eighty-four when he was succeeded by his nephew, Arghun Khan. This transition marked a significant moment in the history of the Ilkhanate, as it reflected the ongoing shifts in power dynamics within the Mongolian Empire.
