Telê Santana

Telê Santana, born on July 26, 1931, in Itabirito, Minas Gerais, was a prominent Brazilian football manager and former player, known for his role as a right winger. The 1982 squad, in particular, is celebrated as one of the greatest teams in football history that did not secure a World Cup victory. This legendary team featured iconic players such as Zico, Sócrates, Falcão, Júnior, and Toninho Cerezo, all of whom thrived under Telê's guidance.
