Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Telesphore Toppo

Telesphore Toppo, born on October fifteenth, nineteen thirty-nine, is a distinguished Indian prelate of the Catholic Church. He has made significant contributions to the Church and society, particularly as a member of the aboriginal tribal community. His journey in the Church began as the bishop of Dumka from nineteen seventy-eight to nineteen eighty-four, where he laid the groundwork for his future leadership.

In nineteen eighty-five, Toppo became the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Ranchi, a position he held until two thousand eighteen. His tenure was marked by a commitment to social justice and the upliftment of marginalized communities. In recognition of his service, he was appointed a cardinal in two thousand three, making history as the first cardinal from India's tribal population.

A true polyglot, Toppo is fluent in several languages, including Sadri and Oraon, which are his mother tongues, as well as Hindi, English, and Italian. This linguistic ability has enabled him to connect with diverse communities and spread his message of faith and hope across cultural boundaries.
