Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Tengiz Sigua

Tengiz Sigua, born on November ninth, nineteen thirty-four, was a prominent Georgian politician who played a significant role during a tumultuous period in Georgia's history. An engineer by training, he ventured into politics as the Soviet Union was on the brink of collapse. In nineteen ninety, he led an expert group for the political bloc 'Round Table-Free Georgia', marking the beginning of his political journey.

Following the first multiparty elections in Georgia, Sigua was elected as the Chair of the Ministers' Council of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic on November fourteenth, nineteen ninety. He served as Prime Minister in Zviad Gamsakhurdia's government from November fifteenth, nineteen ninety to August eighteenth, nineteen ninety-one. However, his tenure was cut short due to disagreements with the president, leading to his resignation.

In the wake of Gamsakhurdia's ousting, Sigua emerged as a key figure in the interim government, taking on the role of Prime Minister on January sixth, nineteen ninety-two. He was reappointed to this position on November eighth, nineteen ninety-two, by the newly elected Parliament. His time in office was marked by challenges, and he ultimately resigned on August sixth, nineteen ninety-three, after the Parliament rejected the government's budget.

Despite stepping down as Prime Minister, Sigua continued to influence Georgian politics as a member of Parliament and as the leader of the National Liberation Front opposition party. He was a proponent of a military solution to the Abkhazia conflict, demonstrating his commitment to his country's sovereignty. In a later interview, he controversially stated that Georgia had initiated the conflict that led to the war in two thousand eight, reflecting the complex and often contentious nature of his political career.
