His work as an outsider artist and vlogger garnered him a dedicated following, making him an internet celebrity and a figure of intrigue within the tech community.

Throughout his life, Davis faced significant mental health challenges. In nineteen ninety-six, he began experiencing regular manic episodes, which eventually led to hospitalization.
