Tetiana Ostashchenko

Tetiana Ostashchenko, born on August fourth, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished Ukrainian military officer and physician. With a robust background in pharmacy and military medicine, she has dedicated her career to serving her country through various medical roles within the armed forces.

In a historic achievement, she became the first woman in Ukraine to command a military branch, taking on the role of Commander of the Medical Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in twenty twenty-one. Her leadership marked a significant milestone in the military, showcasing her exceptional capabilities and paving the way for future generations of women in the armed forces.

Throughout her tenure, which lasted until November twenty twenty-three, Major General Ostashchenko not only held the rank of major general but also made history as the first woman to achieve the rank of brigadier general in Ukraine.
