Teun Mulder

Teun Mulder, born on June 18, 1981, is a distinguished Dutch track cyclist known for his remarkable achievements in the world of competitive cycling. As a former keirin World Champion, Mulder has made a significant mark in the sport, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

Throughout his career, Mulder has excelled in various events, notably securing a silver medal in the team sprint alongside teammates Theo Bos and Tim Veldt. His prowess in the team sprint and keirin has also led him to victory in four World Cup classics, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier athlete.

Mulder represented the Netherlands at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he showcased his skills by finishing tenth in the individual sprint, sixth in the team sprint with Bos and Jan Bos, and eleventh in the one-kilometer time trial. Although he faced challenges in the keirin competition, he persevered and returned to the Olympic stage in 2012, where he proudly earned a bronze medal in the men's keirin.

In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Mulder was appointed as a member of the inaugural UCI Athletes' Commission in 2011, reflecting his commitment to the sport and its community.
