Known affectionately by her nicknames, 'The Ice Cream Blonde' and 'Hot Toddy', she captivated audiences with her comedic talent and charm.

Throughout her career, Todd appeared in approximately one hundred and twenty feature films and shorts from nineteen twenty-six to nineteen thirty-five. She is particularly remembered for her comedic roles alongside ZaSu Pitts and her performances in iconic films such as the Marx Brothers' 'Monkey Business' and 'Horse Feathers'. Her collaborations extended to several of Charley Chase's short comedies, showcasing her versatility as an actress.

In addition to her work with the Marx Brothers, Todd co-starred with notable figures like Buster Keaton and Jimmy Durante in the film 'Speak Easily'.
