Theodore McCarrick

Theodore McCarrick, born on July seventh, nineteen thirty, was a prominent American Catholic bishop and cardinal. He served as the Archbishop of Newark from nineteen eighty-six to two thousand and as the Archbishop of Washington from two thousand one to two thousand six. Known for his fundraising prowess, McCarrick was deeply connected to influential politicians and was recognized as a power broker in Washington, D.C. Ordained as a priest in nineteen fifty-eight, McCarrick quickly rose through the ranks of the Catholic Church.
