Thierry Neuville

Thierry Neuville, born on June sixteenth, nineteen eighty-eight, in St. Vith, Belgium, is a prominent rally driver currently competing in the World Rally Championship for Hyundai Motorsport. His career has been marked by remarkable achievements, including finishing as runner-up five times between two thousand thirteen and two thousand nineteen. In two thousand twenty-four, he made history by securing his maiden drivers' world title, becoming the first Belgian to win the championship.

Neuville's journey in rallying began in two thousand seven, and he quickly made a name for himself in various competitions. He participated in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge from two thousand nine to two thousand eleven, making his World Rally Championship debut at the Rally Catalunya in two thousand nine. His promising performances led to a contract with the Citroën Junior Team, where he made his World Rally Car debut in two thousand twelve.

In two thousand fourteen, Neuville became the lead driver for Hyundai Motorsport, achieving his first World Rally Championship victory at the Rallye Deutschland, which was also Hyundai's inaugural win in the series.
