Thomas Brisbane

Thomas Brisbane, born on July twenty-third, seventeen seventy-three, was a distinguished British Army officer, colonial administrator, and astronomer. Brisbane's exemplary service earned him the recommendation of the Duke of Wellington, leading to his appointment as Governor of New South Wales from eighteen twenty-one to eighteen twenty-five.
