Timothy Zahn

His most celebrated works include the Thrawn trilogy, a series of Star Wars novels that played a pivotal role in rekindling interest in the franchise during a period of declining profitability and engagement.

Raised in Lombard, Illinois, Zahn developed a passion for science fiction at a young age. He attended Glenbard East High School, where his love for storytelling began to flourish. Following high school, he pursued higher education at Michigan State University, later advancing to the University of Illinois to work towards a doctorate in physics.
