Toby Keith, born on July eighth, nineteen sixty-one, was a multifaceted American country music artist, renowned for his talents as a singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, and businessman. Early in his career, he adopted the stage name Toby Keith, which would become synonymous with his impactful contributions to the music industry.

Keith's rise to fame began with the release of his debut single, 'Should've Been a Cowboy', in nineteen ninety-three, which quickly topped the charts. Throughout the nineties, he released four studio albums, each achieving gold or higher certification. His breakthrough came with the title track from his nineteen ninety-nine album, 'How Do You Like Me Now?!', which became the number one country song of two thousand.

Over the years, Keith's musical prowess led to the release of nineteen studio albums, two Christmas albums, and five compilation albums, amassing worldwide sales exceeding forty million. He charted sixty-one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including twenty number one hits and twenty-two additional top ten hits. Notable among his longest-lasting hits are 'Beer for My Horses', a duet with Willie Nelson, and 'As Good as I Once Was'.

In two thousand five, he established Show Dog Nashville, which later evolved into Show Dog-Universal Music. Sadly, Toby Keith passed away on February fifth, twenty twenty-four, after a battle with stomach cancer. Just hours after his death, he was posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, solidifying his legacy in the world of country music.
