Tomáš Kalas

Tomáš Kalas, born on May 15, 1993, is a talented Czech professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Schalke 04 and represents the Czech Republic national team. His versatility on the field allows him to also perform effectively as a right-back, showcasing his adaptability in various defensive roles.

Kalas began his football journey at Sigma Olomouc, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Chelsea in 2010 for a reported sum of five million two hundred thousand pounds. His time at Chelsea was marked by a series of loan spells, which included stints at Sigma Olomouc, Vitesse Arnhem, 1. FC Köln, Middlesbrough, Fulham, and Bristol City, where he eventually made a permanent transfer in 2019.
