Tomas Vaitkus

Tomas Vaitkus, born on February fourth, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished Lithuanian professional road racing cyclist. Known affectionately as Tomas the Tank Engine, he has made significant strides in the world of competitive cycling, showcasing his talents on various prestigious platforms.

Vaitkus made his much-anticipated debut at the Tour de France in the two thousand seven edition. Unfortunately, his journey was cut short due to a serious crash at the end of stage two, marking a challenging start to his Tour aspirations. However, his resilience and determination saw him bounce back, continuing to pursue his passion for cycling.

In two thousand ten, Vaitkus joined Team RadioShack, further solidifying his presence in the professional cycling arena. His career took another turn in two thousand eleven when he rejoined Astana, a team known for its competitive edge.
