His journey in football began in Krosno Odrzańskie, Poland, where he first showcased his talent at Śląsk Wrocław. His career took him across borders, leading him to play for German clubs KFC Uerdingen 05 and Hertha BSC before making a significant move to England in two thousand four with West Bromwich Albion.

In the summer of two thousand six, Kuszczak joined the prestigious Manchester United, where he served as the backup goalkeeper to Edwin van der Sar. During his tenure at the club, he celebrated numerous victories, including three Premier League titles, two Football League Cups, three FA Community Shields, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the coveted UEFA Champions League trophy.

After his successful stint at Manchester United, Kuszczak signed with Brighton & Hove Albion in two thousand twelve, remaining with the club until the end of the two thousand thirteen to fourteen season.
