Tommaso Ciampa

Tommaso Ciampa, born Tommaso Whitney on May 8, 1985, is a prominent American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Known for his intense in-ring style and captivating persona, Ciampa has made a significant impact in the wrestling world, notably as a former one-time AEW TNT Champion.

Ciampa's wrestling journey began in 2005 after training under the legendary Harley Race and Killer Kowalski. He quickly made a name for himself on the independent circuit, showcasing his talents in various promotions. In 2011, he joined Ring of Honor (ROH), where he became a member of the Embassy and captured the ROH World Television Championship.

His career took a pivotal turn when he debuted in WWE in 2015, participating in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. It was here that he formed the iconic tag team #DIY with Johnny Gargano, a partnership that would lead them to win the NXT Tag Team Championships in November 2016. Ciampa's tenure in WWE also saw him become a two-time NXT Champion, solidifying his status as one of the top talents in the industry.
