Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Tomonobu Itagaki

Tomonobu Itagaki, born on April first, nineteen sixty-seven, is a renowned Japanese video game developer, director, and producer. He is celebrated for his pivotal role in creating the iconic Dead or Alive series and for revitalizing the Ninja Gaiden franchise in two thousand four. His innovative contributions to the gaming industry earned him recognition as one of the top one hundred game creators of all time by IGN in two thousand nine.

Itagaki's journey in the gaming world began when he joined Tecmo in nineteen ninety-two. During his tenure, he produced two highly successful video game franchises that garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success. His exceptional leadership led him to head Tecmo's development team, Team Ninja, and to serve on the executive board.

After sixteen years with Tecmo, Itagaki departed the company in June two thousand eight, following a dispute with its new president regarding withheld bonus pay. He subsequently founded Valhalla Game Studios with several former Team Ninja members, where he released Devil's Third. However, Valhalla Game Studios was dissolved in December two thousand twenty-one, although Itagaki had already established Itagaki Games earlier that same year.

Tragically, Tomonobu Itagaki passed away in October two thousand twenty-five at the age of fifty-eight, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence the gaming industry.
