Tony Snell

Tony Rena Snell Jr., born on November 10, 1991, in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, is an accomplished American professional basketball player currently showcasing his talents with Boulazac Basket Dordogne in the French Betclic Élite. Raised primarily by his mother, Sherika Brown, who juggled multiple jobs as a single parent, Snell's early life was marked by resilience and determination.

Before his senior year, Snell relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he completed his high school education at Westwind Preparatory Academy. His basketball journey flourished during his college years at the University of New Mexico, where he served as the starting shooting guard for the Lobos. Snell played a pivotal role in leading the team to consecutive Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament championships, earning NCAA tournament bids in the process.
