Travis Dermott

Travis Dermott, born on December twenty-second, nineteen ninety-six, is a talented Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently on a professional tryout with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). His journey in ice hockey began in junior leagues, where he was drafted by the Erie Otters in the two thousand twelve Ontario Hockey League draft. Over three seasons with the Otters, Dermott showcased his skills and was honored with a spot on the 2014 First All-Rookie Team.

Dermott's potential was recognized early on, as he was rated as a top prospect for the 2015 NHL entry draft. Although he was projected to be a first-round pick, he was ultimately selected in the second round, thirty-fourth overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs. His professional career commenced in two thousand sixteen with the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, where he quickly made a name for himself as a reliable player on the penalty kill.

In two thousand eighteen, Dermott made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs. Despite a tough first-round playoff exit against the Boston Bruins, he played a crucial role in helping the Marlies secure their first Calder Cup in franchise history. Throughout his career, he has also played for the Vancouver Canucks, the Arizona Coyotes, and the Minnesota Wild, further establishing his presence in the league.
