Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Trevor Stienburg

Trevor Stienburg, born on May 13, 1966, in Kingston, Ontario, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. He was selected in the first round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, being the fifteenth overall pick by the Quebec Nordiques. During his brief stint in the National Hockey League, he played seventy-one regular-season games and one playoff game, all with the Nordiques.

After his playing career, Stienburg transitioned into coaching, leading the Saint Mary's Huskies in the Atlantic University Hockey Conference for an impressive twenty-three years. Under his guidance, the team clinched AUS titles in two thousand two and two thousand nine, and they achieved a remarkable University Cup title in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on March 28, two thousand ten. His coaching prowess earned him the U Sports Coach of the Year award three times, a unique accomplishment as he is the only coach to have achieved this back-to-back in the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons.

In June of two thousand twenty, Stienburg stepped down from his coaching role but continued to contribute to the sport as an amateur scout for the Seattle Kraken. His extensive experience and insights into the game make him a valuable asset in this new capacity.
