Tristan Walker

Tristan Walker, born on May sixteenth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished Canadian luger who has made significant strides in the sport since his debut in two thousand eight. With a remarkable career that includes three podium finishes in the Luge World Cup doubles, Walker has established himself as a formidable competitor on the international stage.

His Olympic journey began with the two thousand ten Winter Olympics, where he showcased his skills and finished in fifteenth place. However, it was at the two thousand fourteen Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, that Walker truly shone. Competing in both the Doubles race and the newly introduced Team Relay, he and his partner Justin Snith narrowly missed the podium in the doubles event, finishing just five one-hundredths of a second away from a medal, marking the best-ever Olympic result for a Canadian sled in this category.

In addition to their impressive performance in the doubles, Walker and Snith teamed up with fellow athletes Alex Gough and Samuel Edney for the Mixed team event, where they achieved another commendable fourth-place finish.
