Brian Michael Firkus, widely recognized by his stage name Trixie Mattel, is a multifaceted American drag queen and television personality born on August 23, 1989, in Marinette County, Wisconsin. Trixie has captivated audiences with her unique blend of comedy and music, characterized by a distinctive 1960s-inspired aesthetic, bold eye makeup, and a musical style that fuses acoustic pop with folk-country influences. Her proficiency with instruments like the guitar and autoharp further enhances her artistic repertoire.
In 2015, Trixie gained national attention as a contestant on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, later returning to claim victory in the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Beyond her competition success, she has made numerous guest appearances across the Drag Race franchise and served as a judge on the spinoff series Queen of the Universe from 2021 to 2023.
