Tuomo Ruutu

Tuomo Ruutu, born on February sixteenth, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished Finnish former professional ice hockey forward who has transitioned into coaching. Currently, he serves as an assistant coach for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL), where he applies his extensive knowledge and experience from his playing days.

Ruutu's journey in the NHL began when he was drafted in the first round, ninth overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks during the two thousand one NHL entry draft. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Blackhawks, showcasing his skills and determination on the ice.

Throughout his career, Ruutu also played for notable teams such as the Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils. His playing tenure concluded with a successful stint at Davos in the Swiss National League (NL), where he continued to demonstrate his passion for the sport.
