Túpac Huallpa

Túpac Huallpa, originally named Awki Wallpa Túpaq, was born in the year fifteen ten. He emerged as a significant figure during a tumultuous period in the history of the Inca Empire, particularly during the Spanish conquest led by Francisco Pizarro.

In July of fifteen thirty-three, Túpac Huallpa was appointed as the first vassal Sapa Inca by the Spanish conquistadors. This marked a pivotal moment as he became a symbol of the Inca's adaptation to the new colonial realities imposed by the Spanish.

His reign, albeit brief, lasted until October of the same year, during which he navigated the complexities of leadership under foreign domination. Túpac Huallpa's legacy is intertwined with the broader narrative of resistance and adaptation faced by indigenous leaders during the conquest.
