Twenty One Pilots

Twenty One Pilots, an innovative musical duo hailing from Columbus, Ohio, was established in 2009 by lead vocalist Tyler Joseph, alongside Nick Thomas and Chris Salih. After the departure of Thomas and Salih in 2011, the duo solidified its lineup with drummer Josh Dun, embarking on a journey that would redefine the alternative music landscape.

Their early work included two independent albums, 'Twenty One Pilots' (2009) and 'Regional at Best' (2011), which laid the groundwork for their future success. In 2012, they signed with Fueled by Ramen, leading to the release of 'Vessel' in 2013. This album marked a significant milestone, as it became the second album in history where every track received at least a gold certification.

Breakthrough success came with their fourth album, 'Blurryface' (2015), which featured chart-topping singles like 'Stressed Out' and 'Ride.' This album made history as the first to have every track certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Additionally, the release of 'Heathens' positioned them as the first alternative artist to achieve two concurrent top five singles on the Billboard Hot 100, joining the ranks of legends like The Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Continuing their momentum, Twenty One Pilots has released four more studio albums: 'Trench' (2018), 'Scaled and Icy' (2021), 'Clancy' (2024), and 'Breach' (2025). With an impressive 13 number-one songs on the Alternative Airplay chart, they have tied with Green Day for the third-most in this category, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in the music industry.
