He has held various significant positions within the Israeli government, including serving as Israel's National Security Advisor from two thousand twenty-three to two thousand twenty-five. A member of the Likud party, Hanegbi's extensive political career includes roles as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Minister of Regional Cooperation, and Minister of Community Affairs.
