Ünal Üstel

Ünal Üstel, born in nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Turkish Cypriot politician who has made significant contributions to the political landscape of Northern Cyprus. He has been serving as the Prime Minister since two thousand twenty-two, a role that underscores his leadership and commitment to the region.

His political journey began in the Assembly of the Republic, where he was an active member from nineteen ninety-one to two thousand five, and then resumed his service in two thousand nine. Üstel is affiliated with the National Unity Party, a key political entity in Northern Cyprus.

Before ascending to the role of Prime Minister, Üstel held various ministerial positions across multiple governments, showcasing his versatility and dedication to public service. He also served as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly during two distinct periods, from two thousand one to two thousand three and again from two thousand thirteen to two thousand fifteen.
