Urby Emanuelson

Urby Emanuelson, born on June sixteenth, nineteen eighty-six, is a distinguished Dutch former professional footballer who has transitioned into coaching. Currently, he serves as the assistant trainer for Jong Ajax, where he imparts his extensive knowledge and experience to the next generation of players.

A product of the renowned Ajax Youth Academy, Emanuelson dedicated a significant portion of his career to Ajax. Initially playing as a left wing-back, he later thrived in a more advanced role as a left midfielder or left winger under the guidance of manager Martin Jol. This shift allowed him to showcase his speed and creativity, frequently making impactful runs down the flank, assisting teammates, and contributing goals.
