Vajiha Samadova, born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen twenty-four, holds a distinguished place in the history of Azerbaijani art as the first professional female painter in the country. Her contributions to the art world were recognized when she was honored as a Distinguished Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR in nineteen sixty-four.

Following her passing, the Azerbaijan Artists Union honored her memory by naming a gallery hall after her, ensuring that her influence on the art community would not be forgotten.
