Her remarkable journey in the sport began in Saratov, where she honed her skills alongside her cousin after relocating from Yershov following the death of her father in nineteen fifty.
Prudskova's dedication and talent shone brightly as she became a member of the Soviet foil team from nineteen fifty-seven to nineteen sixty-six. During this period, she achieved significant success, securing four gold and two silver medals at the world championships, along with an individual bronze. Her Olympic accolades include a gold medal in the women's team foil event at the nineteen sixty Summer Olympics and a silver in the same event at the nineteen sixty-four Summer Olympics.
