Valeri Liukin

Valeri Liukin, born on December seventeenth, nineteen sixty-six, is a distinguished Kazakh-American retired artistic gymnast who has transitioned into a successful gymnastics coach. His illustrious career began under the banner of the former Soviet Union, where he made a significant mark in the world of gymnastics.

Liukin's crowning achievements include winning the Olympic gold medal in the team competition and on the horizontal bar during the 1988 Olympics. Additionally, he earned silver medals in both the all-around and parallel bars, showcasing his versatility and skill across multiple disciplines.
