Vance Joy

James Gabriel Keogh, known to the world as Vance Joy, was born on December first, nineteen eighty-seven, in Australia. He initially pursued a career in Australian rules football before transitioning to music, where he found his true calling as a singer and songwriter.

Vance Joy gained widespread recognition with his breakout hit, "Riptide," which was released in two thousand thirteen. This song not only showcased his unique sound but also earned the top spot on the prestigious Triple J Hottest 100 that same year. His debut EP, "God Loves You When You're Dancing," was released in March of two thousand thirteen, marking the beginning of his successful music career.

In September of two thousand fourteen, Joy released his debut studio album, "Dream Your Life Away," which was well-received both in Australia and internationally. His talent was further recognized at the ARIA Music Awards of two thousand fifteen, where he won the award for Best Male Artist. Following this success, he released his second studio album, "Nation of Two," in two thousand eighteen, and his third album, "In Our Own Sweet Time," came out in June of two thousand twenty-two.
