Vasilij Žbogar

Vasilij Žbogar, born on October 4, 1975, in Koper, Slovenia, is a distinguished sailor known for his remarkable achievements in competitive sailing. His journey in the sport has been marked by significant milestones, including his participation in three Summer Olympics.

In the 2004 Summer Olympics, Žbogar showcased his exceptional skills in the laser class, earning a bronze medal that solidified his status as a top competitor. He continued to excel, winning a silver medal in the same class at the 2008 Summer Olympics, further establishing his legacy in the sailing community.

Beyond the Olympics, Žbogar's prowess was evident in the 2010 Barcolana regatta, where he was part of the record-setting yacht Esimit Europa 2, leading the team to victory.
