Vaughn Chipeur

Vaughn Chipeur, born on December 21, 1984, is a distinguished former Canadian figure skater and a dedicated figure-skating coach. Residing in Edmonton, Alberta, he has made significant contributions to the sport, both on and off the ice.

Chipeur's skating journey began at the tender age of six, leading him to a successful competitive career. He earned the silver medal at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in both 2009 and 2010, showcasing his talent and determination. Additionally, he claimed the bronze medal at the 2006 Nebelhorn Trophy, further solidifying his status in the figure skating community.

In 2010, Chipeur was honored with the opportunity to represent Canada at the Winter Olympics, where he placed twenty-third in the men's event. This experience marked a significant milestone in his career. However, on July 15, 2010, he announced his retirement from competitive figure skating, transitioning into a role as a coach and mentor.

Beyond his competitive achievements, Chipeur serves as the Figure Skate Technical Representative and Brand Ambassador for TRUE Temper Sports, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the sport. His legacy continues to inspire aspiring skaters across Canada.
