Vegard Forren

Vegard Forren, born on February 16, 1988, in Kyrksæterøra, is a distinguished Norwegian professional footballer known for his role as a centre-back at Træff. His football journey began at a young age with the local club KIL/Hemne, where he honed his skills before making the leap to professional football.

In 2007, Forren joined Molde, where he made a significant impact, amassing over 150 appearances. His talent caught the attention of international clubs, leading to a transfer to Southampton in January 2013 for a fee in the region of four million pounds. However, his time in England was challenging, as he did not feature in any competitive matches for the club.

Returning to Molde in July 2013, Forren continued to solidify his legacy at the club. As of December 1, 2019, he had made an impressive 384 appearances, ranking him as the second-highest in the club's history. His dedication and consistency are highlighted by his remarkable achievement of playing in twelve consecutive Eliteserien seasons, a feat shared with only a few other players.
