Venus Williams, born on June 17, 1980, is a renowned American professional tennis player, entrepreneur, and writer. She has made her mark in the world of tennis by achieving the prestigious world No. 1 ranking in both women's singles and doubles, as recognized by the Women's Tennis Association. With an impressive tally of forty-nine WTA Tour-level singles titles, including seven major championships, Williams has solidified her legacy in the sport.

Her journey began in 1994 when she turned professional, and by the age of seventeen, she reached her first major final at the 1997 US Open.
