Véronique Béliveau

Véronique Béliveau, born on January 24, 1955, is a talented Canadian singer and actress, originally known as Nicole Monique. She gained recognition in the music industry with her debut album, Prends-moi comme je suis, released in 1977. Her career took a significant turn when she was nominated for a Juno Award for Female Vocalist of the Year in 1987, showcasing her remarkable vocal abilities.

In 1985, Béliveau joined a collective of Canadian artists to record the charity single "Tears Are Not Enough," aimed at raising funds to combat famine in Ethiopia. This collaboration highlighted her commitment to social causes and her willingness to use her platform for good. The following year, she released her first English-language album, Borderline, under the name Veronique, further expanding her reach in the music scene.

Aside from her musical endeavors, Véronique Béliveau has also made her mark in acting. She appeared in the 1976 film Let's Talk About Love (Parlez-nous d'amour), demonstrating her versatility as an entertainer. One of her notable performances was at the opening Gala for Expo 86, where she captivated audiences with her talent.
