Vic Emery

Vic Emery, born on June twenty-eight, nineteen thirty-three, in Montreal, Quebec, is a distinguished Canadian athlete and businessman renowned for his remarkable achievements in bobsleigh. A gold medallist in the four-man bobsleigh event at the 1964 Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck, Austria, Emery's journey into the sport began serendipitously while attempting to ski across the mountains to watch the 1956 Winter Olympics. A chance encounter with the British Bobsleigh Team ignited his passion for bobsleighing, leading him to pilot a sled loaned by the Marquis de Portago.
