Victoire of France

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Victoire of France

Victoire of France, born on May eleventh, seventeen thirty-three, was a distinguished French princess and the beloved daughter of King Louis XV and Queen Marie Leszczyńska. Her name pays homage to her parents and her great-great-grandmother, Queen Maria Theresa, the consort of Louis XIV.

Initially referred to as Madame Quatrième, a title reflecting her status as the fourth daughter of the King, she later became known as Madame Victoire. This change in title marked her unique identity within the royal family.

Throughout her life, Victoire demonstrated remarkable resilience, outliving eight of her nine siblings. Her older sister, Adélaïde of France, passed away less than a year before her, leaving Victoire as one of the last surviving members of her immediate family. Together with her sisters, they were affectionately known as the Mesdames, a testament to their close bond and shared experiences in the royal court.
