Victoria Matthews, born on January first, nineteen fifty-four, is a distinguished Canadian Anglican priest who has made significant contributions to the Anglican Church. Her journey in ecclesiastical leadership began in nineteen ninety-four when she became the first woman ordained as a bishop in the Anglican Church of Canada, taking on the role of suffragan bishop of the Diocese of Toronto.
