Victoria Monét, born on May first, nineteen eighty-nine, is an American singer-songwriter who has made significant strides in the music industry. Initially recognized for her exceptional songwriting skills, she embarked on a recording career that saw the release of several extended plays (EPs). Her fifth EP, Jaguar, released in two thousand twenty, garnered critical acclaim and set the stage for her debut studio album.

In two thousand twenty-three, Monét achieved commercial success with her debut album, Jaguar II, which featured the hit single "On My Mama." This track not only peaked within the top forty of the Billboard Hot 100 but also earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Record of the Year.
