He served as the thirty-sixth Prime Minister of Russia from September two thousand seven to May two thousand eight, during a pivotal time in the nation's political landscape. Appointed by President Vladimir Putin, Zubkov took over the role following the resignation of Mikhail Fradkov, with his nomination receiving swift approval from the Duma.
