Viktors Ščerbatihs

Viktors Ščerbatihs, born on October sixth, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished former weightlifter and politician from Latvia. He is celebrated for his remarkable achievements in weightlifting, having represented his country as a three-time Olympian.

In the 2004 Summer Olympics, Ščerbatihs showcased his exceptional talent by securing a silver medal in the +105 kg weight category, achieving a total lift of four hundred fifty-five kilograms, which included two hundred five kilograms in the snatch and two hundred fifty kilograms in the clean and jerk. His prowess in the sport is further highlighted by his three bronze medals from the World Championships in nineteen ninety-seven, nineteen ninety-eight, and two thousand three, along with a gold medal in two thousand seven.

Ščerbatihs's success extended to the European Championships, where he earned multiple medals, including gold in two thousand one and four consecutive golds from two thousand five to two thousand eight. His dedication to the sport culminated in a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, with a total lift of four hundred forty-eight kilograms.
