Vinnie Vincent

Vincent John Cusano, known to the world as Vinnie Vincent, was born on August 6, 1952. He emerged as a prominent figure in the American rock scene, particularly recognized for his exceptional skills as a guitarist, songwriter, and composer. His journey in music began to gain significant traction when he joined the iconic rock band Kiss in 1982, a pivotal time as the band transitioned from their classic makeup era.

During his tenure with Kiss, which lasted until mid-1984, Vincent made a notable impact. He was the last member to don a unique makeup and costume configuration, portraying the character of the Wizard, a design crafted by the legendary Paul Stanley. This era culminated in a groundbreaking moment when Vincent and the band were first seen without their makeup during an MTV interview in September 1983, marking a significant shift in the band's identity.

After his time with Kiss, Vinnie Vincent founded his own band, Vinnie Vincent Invasion. This venture allowed him to explore his musical creativity further, and the band achieved minor hits within the hair metal genre, showcasing Vincent's talent and influence in the rock music landscape.
