Violet Jessop

Violet Jessop, born on October second, eighteen eighty-seven, was an extraordinary figure in maritime history. As an Irish-Argentine ocean liner stewardess and a dedicated nurse with the Voluntary Aid Detachment, she navigated the turbulent waters of the early twentieth century with remarkable resilience.

Her career was marked by harrowing experiences, most notably her survival of the infamous sinking of the RMS Titanic in nineteen twelve. This tragic event would not be the only brush with disaster for Jessop, as she also endured the sinking of the HMHS Britannic in nineteen sixteen, showcasing her incredible fortitude in the face of adversity.

In addition to these maritime disasters, Jessop was aboard the RMS Olympic during its collision with the British warship HMS Hawke in nineteen eleven. Her life was a testament to the unpredictability of the sea and the strength of the human spirit.
