Virgil of Salzburg

Virgil of Salzburg, also known as Vergil, was an influential Irish priest and mathematician born around the year seven hundred. In the year seven hundred forty-five, Virgil departed from Ireland with the intention of visiting the Holy Land. However, like many of his compatriots, he found his new home in Francia, where he would leave an indelible mark on the region's religious and intellectual landscape.
